Course Level: Intermediate
Course Description: A continuation of the study of the requirements for the Child Development Associate National Credential (CDA). The six functional areas of study include safe, healthy, learning environment, self, social, and guidance.
Learning Outcomes: Explain methods to establish and maintain a safe, healthy learning environment, describe ways to support social and emotional development and describe techniques used to provide positive guidance. Utilize skills in writing, speaking, problem-solving, time management, and record keeping.
